After clearing US customs, I got a ride down to South Beach, which was close to my hotel. Miami reminds me somewhat of my short stay in L.A. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't live there. Lots of nice cars, clean, very rich atmosphere. 
I hung out for the day on Sunday and Monday (15th/16th) just on the beach checking things out and walking around, finally soaking up some sun. Not a lot to mention, just enjoyed some down time where I don't have to be ready to fly the next day. Although I did have to drive to Texas to visit friends on the 17th.
