Jack Johnson

Well, an update and change of plans. I have moved my flights around so I can catch Jack Johnson in concert in New Plymouth, NZ on March 23rd. Still flying into Auckland, this time on the 15th of March instead of the 1st of April. Still flying out of Christchurch on May 15th.

I figured it would more than likely be a once in a lifetime opportunity to go see him in concert, so I jumped at the chance. Do it while you can! As far as I know, Jack has only played in B.C. and Ontario in Canada, so seeing him in concert anywhere is going to involve a bit of travel. Matt Costa is also scheduled to be on the bill, so at about $65 Canadian, i figure that is pretty good.

Itinerary

So here's the itinerary:

March 1st: Calgary, Alberta - L.A., California

March 2nd: L.A., California - Nadi, Fiji

March 15th: Nadi, Fiji - Auckland, New Zealand

May 15th: Christchurch, New Zealand - Sydney, Australia

July 15th: Perth, Australia - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

August 1st: Kuala Lumpur - Johannesburg, Soth Africa - Cape Town, South Africa

September 1st: Cape Town, South Africa - Buenos Aires, Argentina

October 1st: Buenos Aires, Argentina - Santiago, Chile

November 1st: Santiago, Chile - Lima, Peru

November 15th: Lima, Peru - Bogota, Colombia - Miami, Florida - New York, New York

December 1st: - New York, New York - Calgary, Alberta

Although I am aware this does not constitute a 'year' being gone, like the title suggests, I am in fact, gone from work for a year. Mid Feb 2008 - Mid Feb 2009.
